Warrior Career Guide

Not sure if anyone still needs help with the warrior career, but here goes nonetheless.
When I started Warrioring, I had no idea what I was doing. I don't think anyone did, lol. I read several guides and basically the first thing people said was "don't pick the warrior career". It took a few days of trial and error and thousands of FC, but I eventually figured it out! The warrior career is a lot of fun and I definitely recommend it :)
I wrote a quick tips guide on tumblr a few days after the site opened and a lot of people seemed to really appreciate it as the site guide leaves a little to be desired, but obviously that didn't reach the entire Furvilla audience, so here is a forum guide as well that I'll try to keep updated!

Basic Quickstart Guide

WHAT TO DO FIRST: Get a shield and weapons

Beginner warriors can only equip certain items because many of the higher-tier weapons and shields have a minimum number of battles that must be won before they can be used by that villager. To start, pick up a shield and a sword. If you'd like, you can get them from your respective village's armory (the shop with the lightning bolt on the Town Hall page).
These basic weapons will give you 20 total HP and 5 DMG. The basic weapons technically don't add any DMG because your warrior starts out with a base of 5 DMG, but it needs weapons to be able to fight.
Another better-than-basic shield option is to get a Wooden Shield from user stalls, which don't require minimum battle wins, which gives you 60 total HP (remember that your base HP is 10).
THE MAGIC FORMULA: Balance > Light > Dark > Balance
Before starting to battle you need to know and understand this formula:
Balance > Light > Dark > Balance.
All warrior items and monsters have elements. Balance attacks are good against Light which are good against Dark which are good against Balance.
It’s double DMG if you use the right element against the monster--a critical attack--and it goes down from there if you use the “wrong”one (it’ll say that your village swung weakly at the monster). If you use the same element against the monster, the DMG will be the base DMG of whatever the item is.
Your shield will determine what element you are and what monsters can land critical attacks on you.

STARTING TO BATTLE: Understanding charges, defeating bad guys, starting your path to becoming a hero
To start out, get one weapon of each element (Balance, Light, Dark). As I said, you’ll be able to get one of them from your village armory, and you’ll have to get the other two from other villages. For example, Wooden Sword is balance (from OF), Icy Sword is balance (from TEP), Fang Club is dark (from DMM), Dragon Tooth Knife is light (from QP).

Each weapon will show its durability, element, and DMG. Durability means how many times you can use the weapon or shield before it breaks. Before they break they can be repaired by Blacksmiths using Steel.
You start out with 5 charges, and when you use a charge, it will recharge every 5 minutes (going by the site clock, not when you used the charge). Your HP will recover 2 points every 5 minutes as well.
If you click out of a battle while you're in the middle of it, your charges and HP won't recharge/recover.

HP Potions can be used to regen your HP also. (There is a HP Potion and a Mini HP Potion). This is especially helpful in rare monster battles, or battles where you’re about to lose. You can click out of the battle, use an HP potion (it shows up on the career page), click back into it, and continue on.
If you don't think you can win a battle, Run from it (option in the bottom right hand corner). This is especially recommended when you're first starting out. There is a chance of getting sick from running from battles.
BECOMING A TOP TIER WARRIOR: How to git gud
Once you've gotten 10+ wins under your belt, it's time to trade up. I would see what items your village blacksmiths can make, but personally, these are my favorite items:
Wooden Shield (+50 HP) or Frozen Bone Shield (+100 HP)
Elaborate Sword (B) - Dragon Tail Sword (L) - Mammoth Tooth Hammer (B) - Tusk Sword (B) - Monster Claw Axe (D)
There is a tradeoff--high attack weapons typically have low durability, high durability weapons typically have lower attack. Even with the lower attack weapons, you'll be able to defeat most monsters in one hit (if you understand elements correctly). There is a Super Rare monster you need to be prepared for, but having a powerful weapon on the back burner works just fine.
I might go into detail about weapons, but honestly I think the best reference out there right now is this tumblr post that shows all the weapons sorted by tiers: post by furvilla-source!
PROTECTION QUOTIENT AND LEADERBOARDS: Keeping your village safe and making it to the very top
I'll only briefly touch on the Protection Quotient because it's honestly still kind of unclear to me. It's not really clear what an "active" warrior is, so I hope that the staff clarify that. But basically, warriors need to defeat a certain number of monsters every 2 hours to keep the protection quotient up. Anything lower than 5 is bad and can make the rest of the village suffer.
View your village's leaderboards and PQ
You don't get anything for being on the leaderboard (yet), it's just a fun goal to strive for. It updates every 2 hours on the even hours (following the site clock).

MAKING BANK FROM WARRIOR BATTLES: Get that cash money $$$$$$
It takes quite a bit of money to establish yourself as a warrior. I spent thousands of FC, sold all the items I had, frantically explored all the time to get more things to sell, etc to be able to survive in the beginning as a warrior. I was basically doing a ton of trial and error, though. Once you've gotten good weapons and established yourself, that's when the money starts rolling in. B)
The major thing that comes from warrior battles is loot which is used to make costumes. At this current time, the loot itself is selling better than costumes, if you're looking to go into sales.
To make costumes, you need 250 items from explore and 250 from warrior battles. You will also need 100 coins/tokens (to craft an item needed for costumes). OF = Sun Coin, TEP = Frosted Token, DMM = Toothy Token, QP = Sky Coin, OD = Sand Dollar. You get these from Uncommon or Rare or Super Rare monster drops. They can be hard to find, but they usually sell very well in stalls.

Otherwise, the other items that drop as loot typically sell fairly well as well. It takes a bit of an initial investment but warrioring has definitely paid off for me! :)
-----------------------
THAT WAS A LOT. I will probably edit this later. If this gets deleted or removed for some reason, I will post it somewhere else as well (tumblr? pet's page? idk). If you have any questions or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me! :)
