About
him and his twin sister Luna Gekkou originally hail from a palace on the moon and are the current royal family in that they help improve the lives of their fellow citizens through just and fair laws and various other forms of help. Their official job is overseeing the lunar prison system which keeps dangerous entities sealed inside various moons/moon prisons the most dangerous of which sealed inside the moon they reside on. This causes the moon to sometimes resonate with the magic unique to the country of Obscuria causing it to glow a random color onto that country, which can cause a boost to the magic that color represents but also cause temporary insanity. there is currently no known way to harness the boost the moon provides while negating the risk of insanity.
Lunar during his time off the moon befriended Fulvian to whom he owes a debt for rescuing him from a monster he could not see. He later on joined his gang as a full member and befriended another member named Dire. His sister Luna sometimes visits him while he is at the gang as well. During his time below he also became obsessed with boxes and made a throne of boxes for himself in a room of the hideout the gang all stays in. He is not as close to the other members that are not Dire and "the boss" but has a sense of respect and comradery with them none the less, such as the resident mage jumon to whom he has an appreciation of the wisdom and magic skills he brings to the group.
