About

" YOU get dismembered... and YOU get dismembered! YOU too get dismembered! Oh boy! EVERYBODY gets dismembered!

Except you. Yeah, you. You get something special.

TA-DAA!
Decapitatiooooooooon!!! "
-Margador-

Born in a poor family, he was raised in poverty at the very outskirts of Dragonsmaw Manor, in the worst possible conditions. To him, having a full belly was a luxury that happened perhaps once a week, if he was lucky. He rarely saw anyone who wasn't a kobold, as most other species avoided the run-down area unless it was to deal with shady business. Margador was raised to follow his parent's footsteps, that is to say, he became a thief. He was shown little to no respect or compassion, and in return, he showed no respect to anyone else. He ran from home at a young age, granted there really was nowhere for him to run. He attempted to sneak around the more wealthy regions of Dragonsmaw manor, doing pickpocketing and some petty burglary.

Inevitably, he made the wrong people angry (had something to do with him stealing their luxurious vases during a extraordinarily bold break-in. How was he supposed to know they were filled with ashes of his target's great-great-grandparents? ), and after a quick but eventful conformation, he was left beaten, robbed (oh, the irony) and tied by his legs onto a tree in a location known to draw in beasts. And following his luck that day, soon enough the rarest (and, naturally, the deadliest), of Dragonsmaw monsters, the dreaded Tormented crept by.

" At least it will kill me swiftly. " He thought. But no, his luck demanded the Tormented was to play first, hissing and smacking him, as he helplessly swung around. The only stroke of luck he had was when the Tormented accidentally cut the rope with it's claws. Within seconds of landing, Margador was hopping with this legs still bound to one another, hoping to escape. However, a Tormented is not as slow as it looks, and it began to gain onto him.

Then, just like in a story book, a warrior emerged from nowhere, and stepped between Margador and the beast. A short battle ensued, where the warrior made short work of the Tormented with experienced, swift, brutal strikes. A velociraptor followed the warrior, gathering the loot from the beast. Wanting to thank his savior, he learned he was saved by a lady dragon with the name Lady Faralyn, and her "Squire" Kheg . He had heard some stories of the hulking she-dragon, and judging by the remains of the Tormented, all them were true.

A short conversation later, he agreed to follow them back to the town. He soon met Snektar Von Slithersteen, a gentlesnake, whom he remembered to have pickpocketed once or twice in his short but eventful career as a pickpocket. Snektar knew Margador's reputation, and was unwilling to talk or help him at first. But Margador swore he would change his ways, in respect to the cliche but timely rescue by Lady Faralyn. Hesitantly, Snektar agreed to help him get back on his feet. After all, what sort of gentlesnake would deny someone a second chance?

After a few days, Margador decided he wanted to fight the foul beasts lurking in the woods. He would stay away from people he once wronged and the people of his past, and manage to do something good with his life for a change. Initially, Snektar questioned this choice as Margador, like most kobolds, is small. Lady Faralyn, however, insisted on giving Margador a chance, for she too was not what would be called a "born to fight". With Faralyn's intimidating persuasion, Snektar agreed to help Margador with the equipment. The equipment was bought from Mr.Shinyscales Jr. , who forges the best armor and weapons found around Dragonsmaw Manor.

After a few training sessions with Lady Faralyn (a feat on it's own right to survive for a kobold!), he set out and began his new career. A few times Faralyn had to save him yet again, but Margador learned after every battle and soon enough, Margador even slew is first Tormented. As a bonus, Lady Faralyn now has someone to share battle stories with. And Kheg has double the Squiring to do, which suits him just fine.

Margador might be small, but what he lacks in size he makes up with swiftness and finesse (while still somehow finding the time to nearly constantly taunt his enemies, who cannot even understand talk!) in battle. He certainly knows how to wield a polearm! Underestimating him is common trait among the beasts, a trend that keeps ensuring their demise.
