Seeking Moderators

Greetings, villagers! As you may have noticed we received a massive influx of players over the last day. This is far more than our little team of moderators can handle, so we're looking to expand our moderator team, and welcome some new Player Safety members! If you are interested in applying for a moderator position, please send a message to [email protected] with the following: your Furvilla username, your age, your location and time zone, your prior moderation experience, and why you'd like to be a moderator on Furvilla. Please note that we can only accept applications from players aged eighteen or older.
Also, we have a message to share from MOD-Deinmaar, the Head of Community, who would like to address some issues with our current moderators' actions:
The moderators owe the entire Furvilla Community a massive apology. The deletion of many, many threads that never actually violated the Terms of Service wasn't right of us, and we are working to rectify and retrain our team before we open the forums and chats again to make sure this is never an issue again. Miscommunication is no excuse, and we gravely apologize for the trauma this has caused many users who did absolutely nothing wrong. We sincerely hope you enjoy the rest of the site while we work diligently to right our wrongs.
Furvilla has received a much higher amount of registrations than we were prepared for and we're working to ensure our Forums and Chatrooms are welcoming to all members. Please bear with us while we hire additional help! In the meantime, if you haven't gotten a chance, please be sure to read the Newbie Guide and continue your enjoyment of the game.

i'm very satisfied with this apology. i think everyone's hearts were in the right place, and in the short time this site has been up there's been a lot of sketchy content in the forums. i look forward to a safer, more comfortable experience once the moderation team is expanded.
thank you for addressing this so quickly. i wasn't affected personally, but i'm glad those who were are getting an apology. i hope everything goes more smoothly for the staff from here on out! i also hope users understand that it was just because the staff became overwhelmed.
The sheer amount of people in the forums was crazy, holy cow. Hope y'all have good luck in finding mods, and thanks for working so hard on the site!
This is so lovely! It's refreshing seeing such a responsible group of people. Awesome work everybody, this site has been very nice thus far! A big thank you to all the admins and mods of this site for creating such a lovely little place, and monitoring it the best they can. Can't wait to see it grow and where it'll go from here! c:
I've been loving the speedup from lack of Forums, honestly. It'd be nice if everything was optimized for this speed when/if they get readded.
Hey, does this position get money? Not that I want any, of course; I sure as heck not applying (unless you want a sarcastic, slightly offensive moderator that won't abuse his powers (but might be a tad lax)), but you did say you were "hiring", in that message when you try to access the forums/chat. "Hiring" ~~ $$, if you catch my math.
In any case, I hope you find the moderators you're looking for, and expand your bandwidth/expand your servers/optimize your server-side code, because this site's too slow dangit!
Give the mods some slack, they are doing it 4 free.
