You will get the hang of it. Check the Help section or the Guides Forum. But basically you just need as many explorers as you can, one construction worker, 1 herbalist and an optional warrior.
If any of your villagers get sick, go to the town hall and go to the herbalist shop with the sick villager active and use the daily cure. It is bugged rn so your villager wont get sick ever again (even if the game sais otherwise) untill they re-vamp the doctor career
