Furniture is just for decoration, it's a feature where you can "renovate" the home of one of your villagers for 10,000 FC (expensive!) and then access a "decorate house" feature which is kinda like a stickerbook where you can put in the furniture you want however you want on this 2D image.
(p.s. you should come in the regular chat instead of te 18+ one cause there's more people in the regular one to talk to like me ^_^)
