No problem! By the way, shark teeth are also a drop from uncommon+ monsters, so if you happen to find any, would you like to trade for a sand dollar? I'm trying to make shark tooth spears to use/sell!
By defeating an enemy that's uncommon or higher! The drop rate isn't great but it's better for rare and super rare. It's best to have one item of each element (light, dark, balance) and a good shield. Light is weak to balance, dark is weak to light, and balance is weak to dark.
Common enemies usually have HP of like 7-10 or so, so attacking with the correct element doubles your base damage (the critical hit) and kills them in one turn so no injuries! It makes things go a little faster and saves HP for when you're fighting a really bad monster.
