well when I first started, I had my first villager be a herbalist, then realized that the best way to start off the game and make some money is to be an explorer. So I changed to explorer and found money and items I could sell, and eventually worked my way to getting another villager for 500fc. I had both be explorers and got twice as much money coming in, and got the third, and then fourth villager. I changed some careers on some, so now I just have 2 explorers to work with, which is fine because I got a herbalist to grow flowers for my doctor, and I an sell the medicine for more money. My construction worker makes a lot too, since I can take the Marble slabs my explorers find, and make a house and sell it for 10,000fc. So in short, almost everything depends on explorers in order to get more money. In less than a week I earned over 50,000fc xD
