Haven't been on this site for years, not really active anymore.

Just came back because I saw that someone stole several of my characters and put them on the Steam Workshop. : ) . So if you are that user and you're reading this, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you don't realize that this is a shitty thing to do. Please remove mine and everyone else's character that you have stolen and uploaded to the workshop. Thnx.

    • Exactly, it has always puzzled me why you need a certain amount of math credits to pass and its one of the highest credit amounts needed, when its one of the most useless classes. You cant apply math to everyday conversation or problem solving or logic like you can with english and science and history. I feel like you may still need some math credits to pass, you need some credits of art as well to pass here, but it should be more of a voluntary thing to go on with it after a certain point??

Like, I want to work at a nature center and be a freelance artist on the side so to speak. I also like to write (but have been so distracted recently that I simply cannot concentrate on any free writing stories for months D:) so english is good to me, I use a rather large vocabulary which makes people think that im older than I actually am, I can participate in conversations and question things and explain things to people, and almost none of it has to do with math. Like, ok, I have been pretty proud I am able to explain some physics and chemistry things to people, which is nice, but that falls under science in my mind, yes you do need to know math for it, but there is more to it and more meaning behind it other than just. math..

    • oh lord. I certainly hope you are misremembering that.

Either way, i usually dont worry myself about it too much, because like, when are you going to use most of this math stuff in real life anyway?

I want to work at a nature center, not become a rocket scientist, please dont ask me what you get if you turn Y upside down five times and divide it by the square root of 300 Xs or whatever, because thats as much sense as it makes to me. less actually. I could probably figure out what I just said there, but you get the idea

    • oh rip. I got a 250 as the all around score, I was expecting a like, 242 or something

I usually end up guessing for the math, and usually i get between 248-252??? I guess im lucky...

    • Eeey I finished my testing! I did better than I expected on the match portion

especially since im pretty sure i did a mindless guess on like, half of the questions or more

    • I've heard that its hard as well, but I honestly feel like I want to do it

(and that i have to do it becuase my brother took 7 ap classes last year and this year but thats not my fault)
You have an aquatic class? Im envious. There arent that many science electives here...

Theres a lot of art ones though, Im taking design and digital art 2 next year (planning to capstone in that) and i took ceramics 1 last semester, and im going to take drawing and painting as well next year.

I gotta go now, lunch and then the Math Map testing, so see ya, but this was a good chat!

    • I was considering taking both AP Environmental (new class next year!!) AND AP Bio the same year next year, but since im not planning on taking either AP Chem or AP Physics, I figured it would be best to spread out my science classes, so im going to take AP Environmental next year and AP Bio my Junior year.

Makes sense I guess, im taking Intro to Environmental Science for fun as an elective this year as well.
(I want to be an environmentalist and work at a nature center, can you tell?)

Also, the teacher for the environmental classes is fun. Once he asked me about my Nepeta Jacket/Hood and then asked me for a link to Homestuck. I gave it to him, but I dont think he has looked at it yet, but he said he saved it, and that he asks students a lot for things to read and such so who knows. he may still look at it

And i would not put it past him to actually read it

    • oh rip
My physics teacher is also my chem teacher, but he only teaches the accelerated classes
you see, most people take physics both semesters of their freshman year and then chem both semesters of their sophomore year, but with physics and chem x, you learn the same things, just twice as fast

so to speak, I finished an entire years worth of physics in one semester and am doing the same with chem in second semester.

Its stressful and im not doing very well in chem right now...

    • Oh dear, I know that feeling

I myself am currently at school and sitting here between tests. A lot of state testing today. I finished the english test but im terrified of the math one to come. I dont math good. Even though im in accelerated physics and chem... at least Im done with physics

anyway, its made worse because the seniors dont even have to go to school today, so my brother is home, and the juniors and sophomores get to leave halfway through the day.

us tiny freshmen have to stay the entire school day

    • Well hello fellow homestuck, how is your day?

    • Could I get the CSS code for the foreground background?
