Indifferent to a lot of things, Krystal's seemingly uncaring attitude stems from the fact that she is, quite simply put, very old. She's seen a lot of horrible things in her time, and has become desensitized to them, often turning the other cheek in the face of atrocities... but every now and again, she'll find someone she truly, deeply cares about, and she will do anything to protect them, no matter what the cost.
