In life, Ishiko was a smart and talented child, with a future shining with promise and success. It was only a split second mistake that cost her all of that. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
She was working late after school, studying, whem she heard a scream from the classroom over. She hurried over to see a student watching another bleed to death, blood gushing from a would in their neck. They held a knife in their hand. She was a witness, and the killer didn't want that. There was a chase, but at the top of the stairs she was caught, her throat was slit, and her body tumbled down.
Who knows why. Maybe it was her attitude in life. Maybe she had done wrong that she couldn't remember. Whatever the reason was, she became a demon. A hunter in the night. But she didn't mind. She had powers. Powers she used well.
Ishiko is now a high rank of demon. She lets little slow her down. She still retains her smarts, her attitude, her old personality. But she's ruthless now. A small change, but is there. She's ambitious. She wanted her rank. A fraction of her personality in exchange for her power.
