About

Cara started out life as a Caracal, content to either explore when the village needed more resources or work her magic as a Blacksmith. However, her natural curiosity got the better of her and, one day, she found a strange, faerie like creature in the forest. She brought it back and tried to examine it. The faerie seemed amused and, with a bright pulse, faded, leaving something behind. A cat-like plush. It was so cute, so soft, she couldn't help herself. She hugged the plush close to her chest, snuggling it into her fur. She suddenly felt sleepy and laid down where she was. When she woke, the plush was still clutched to her chest. Stretching some she blinked. What was that thing around her neck. And why was it making a ringing sound? And what was that on her tail? She looked down at her arms and almost gasped. Gone was her brownish fur and, instead, it had turned green. The plush forgotten she rose and hurried to a mirror, wondering what had just happened to her. Somehow, that plush, had changed her into a different color. She had to tell the others about this and warn them not to hold the plushes but to store them someplace safe and keep them under lock and key.

This, she knew, was going to take some time to get used to but, in the end, she didn't think it looked that bad on her after all.
