About
Skid - so named for what he would be doing if he were trying to run on freshly washed linoleum - is a very small, spoiled pet lizard who was rescued from an owner who wasn't feeding him by an owner who doesn't know how to feed him properly.
He loves feasting on junk food and sweets. This is mostly because Skid's doting owner had no actual idea what kind of lizard Skid is or if there are any other lizards of his kind. He's perfectly able to understand language and is sentient but is entirely non verbal. Since he had no way of asking him what he eats, he just let him have a bit of what he was eating at the time (pizza) and tested out what to feed him from there.
The food he eats is actually perfectly fine for him, but Skid is prone to overeating if he isn't given proper portions. He is quadrupedal, but he can walk on two legs (a little unsteadily) and often chooses to when going to a meal. The owner often helps with this endeavor by taking him to the bathroom to wash his hands and then holding hands on the way back to where they are eating.
