Update 2: I have been recently contacted by budgie this afternoon and they said that they were alright with me keeping the villager or selling the paintie upon the bird after i found him. I still thought i'd check just in case first to make sure it wasn't a hack or anything first. He didn't really confirm one way or the another if he quit but it seemed implied. I'll miss them. their birds were very sweet to watch around.
