Floraplasia was always just a side effect of being in the village, it was never a disease. So when poor Cosmia woke up unable to see out of her eye, it came as a huge shock to everyone.
When the Mayor and the Doctors couldn't help her figure out why this happened, Cosmia took it upon herself to study more of the condition. Despite not having much luck, she soon developed a fascination with the town history and the unique artifacts her travels brought her.
She is now the village historian, and also runs a museum.
Although Cosmia's condition can not be cured and she will complain about it frequently, she secretly is grateful that it led her to her true calling.
