Snowbell looks stunning!

About

"Hey, Snowy!" The voice rang clear and bell like across the snow covered field, only damped slightly by the slow rain of snowflakes that continued to fall from the sky.

He doesn't bother to turn and look towards the voice. He doesn't want to; doesn't think he can.

"Ignoring people is rude you know!" He pulled his legs up closer to his chest, large, fluffy paws and pointy claws curling around them and holding them close and tight. Perhaps, if he looked smaller, that voice would leave him be.

The crunch of snow under paws grows closer.

The snow falls harder and harder with each step.

Phantom warmth drapes itself over his shoulders, arms curling around and through his thick, pale blue mane in another life he can hardly remember, but can still clearly, painfully, feel.

"You're never really alone, Snowbell," That voice whispers.

"Even separated by time and space, I will always be with you." The phantom warmth wicks away with the blizzard raging around him and he finds himself aching to reach out for that warmth, to grab hold of it and drag it close to him again so that it may warm his frozen heart.

"Be good, Snowy." He pressed his face against his legs, ignoring the tears that froze like tiny marbles in his fur, and desperately tried to will that voice away again.

He wasn't strong enough to stand it.

He never had been.

"You're stronger then you think, Snowy." The voice is but a faint echo of a sound now, ringing in his ears, full of warmth and passion and life that it's owner lacks now.

"I believe in you."

His heart cracks.

Then shatters into thousands of tiny little shards.

His warmth is gone, and what is left is an endless, aching, icy void of nothingness inside of him.
