a curious young mare who enjoys the company of others, despite her residence in oceandome, shortcake runs a small cafe on the outskirts of quetzel palace known as 'the seven wings'. the seven wings tends to specialise in desserts and other sweet foods. although small, the cafe is somewhat of a tourist attraction and gets a lot of its money from those passing through the palace instead of those who live there.

if villagers tell shortcake about their adventures around the region, its assured she'll give them a 20% discount on their bill! she may be busy, but the mare always finds a way to talk to those who visit.
