Nyoom is the leader of the little rag-tag group of villagers. She keeps them together with her shockingly-decent leadership skills. Upfront, she's commanding, demanding constant respect (which usually takes intimidation from her right-hand man, Venice, to get) and not often giving it in return. Though she can be obnoxious, this tiel can actually throw together and command any number of aimless animals, and encourage them to be productive.
If you find her doing what she loves most (gathering minipets), she'll be quite embarrassed as it seems too much of an effeminate thing for her to be doing. After all, a leader should be strong, no? This one does have a soft spot...for minipets and those she feels comfortable opening up to.

He glanced at her, realized the enormity of her emotions, and stopped. He didn't seem to betray any alarm or disdain or even offer more than a pale companionship but he did reach out and touch her shoulder gently.
"It is going to be fine. This place is not forever, we will get you home."
He smiled, a weak smile but a smile none the less, "Just think about what home feels like, it's an easier to remember concept than realities." The feathers she had been shedding blew softly away, carried by some unknown current into the dark.

The mouse cocked his head at her slowly as she tried to remember, studying her as she traced her origin point, or a point of origin. He had no way of telling her if what she thought was accurate.
"Where is Kestrel Castle?"
He stood, as he did several whale-shaped pillows and a throw tumbled to the ground next to the sofa. Taking a step away from them he gestured with his tiny paws for the cockatiel to follow him. The television followed too, they were working on the clouds at this point.
He shrugged and it was a fluid motion of shoulders to ears, a twitch of display as he stretched out to sit up proper. "Not unwelcome."
"Do you need directions to go back to where you were, and more importantly do you remember where you were before?"
The television rolled closer to them, illuminating the circle they were contained within.
The television flickered away from the stationary colour bars and onto a channel that appeared to be airing a rerun of an old but very popular series on how to paint landscapes. It was still muted though.
A tired voice ringed out from behind the bird, "I was watching that," and then after a beat "Are you lost?" The mouse asked, his eyes barely open, but now it seemed easier to hear things, and much easier to see. The light from the television illuminated the couch, and the couch reflected light to the iridescent tiled flooring, everything else remained in inky darkness.
