Magni was made an outlaw in his old village, and ran away in fear for his life. He was wrongly accused, and a tossed into a blood feud with which he could not pay nor defend himself. Once an outlaw he would have been fair game, for anybody to cut him down.
Opting to leave his old home behind hoping to start anew hoping to avoid his past altogether. Coming up upon Dýrdalir when he was trudging along covered in dirt and grime. With confidence he strolled in, and immediately searched, for whoever was in charge. Finding Elska he explained his situation to her, and while technically deemed an outlaw he was innocent. The gyðja convinced his story was true she allowed him to stay offering him a home in the village.
His title of outlaw has made the locals hesitant to befriend him, but they do not question their gyðja. Still he does not let their reluctance get to him, and tries to win them over by helping all who need assistance.
