About

A proud young Niimíipuu warrior, Takoda has trained hard since he was a pup. He’s learned how to ride galloping horses bareback and bridle-free while shooting an arrow at a leather target, throwing spears, and leaping off the horse onto a tree branch to hang upside down and shoot. He’s learned pole vaulting, fencing, knee wrestling, and other forms of combat to school his brain, instincts, and body into a person his people, especially his grandmother, would be proud of. He does not fight to shed blood or win, but to learn and grow. He hopes to teach the next generation how to compete, train, and tend to others with honor, courage, and passion.
