About
Brago moved to Drakel Road in search of a place needing a construction worker- his hometown was all full up on that profession, but he'd always wanted to be one. The neighborhood was glad to have him, and soon he'd built on some of the lots and new folks were moving in. Things are working out pretty well.
Unfortunately, the work dried up eventually. Before long there were houses enough for everyone on the street, and the herbalists had filled their greenhouses with pots. Repairs were needed on occasion, but there wasn't enough to be done for a construction worker to be needed full-time. Brago didn't want to sit around when the neighborhood was doing well, but he also didn't fancy building houses that would sit empty. So, he looked for other work.
It was a coincidence, really, that led him to becoming a warrior. Merde was bringing some old blades and armor to Byron to be melted down, and Brago ended up taking them instead. He could fight, surely? Construction was a business that built strong backs, after all. The weight of the armor was unfamiliar, and swinging a sword was very different from swinging a hammer, but still Brago persisted.
