Mittens is a social butterfly, he seems to know everyone and their grandmother and is the number one source for gossip in the village. He’s not quite as good at his job as he is at gossiping, however he’s made it work. In exchange for a handful of seeds, coral, scrap metal, or a few coins he’ll tell you all the latest drama.

He admires his boyfriend Rei’s dedicated work ethic but it’s a very unlikely example for him to follow. He’s a clever cat but he’s always lacked in the physical strength department, and besides, he just groomed himself and actual exploring is so muddy.
