Rather popular without making much effort just by being a kind and caring individual. If you genuinely care about everyone it's pretty easy to be friends with all of them. Though Lock isn't always the best at making plans with anyone and kind of just goes with the flow of things so it's not surprising that being friends with everyone means not having any close friends to call your own so in a sense Lock is a very popular loner who is friends with everyone but at the same time with no one.
