In the eyes of the other villagers, Sanguiana is a bit of an anomaly. With a thin trail of waxy goo behind her, she was found in Flintlock's lean-to/improvised shed, curled up in a now useless den of excess FD. Flintlock was furious, especially for Katarina's sake, but he wasn't cruel enough to leave a flame-based creature out in the possibly-deadly cold and snow.

Once she came in, Crimsonette instantly bonded with her due to the excess warmth she produced and her mysterious origins. Unforetunately, Sanguiana appeared to be mute, and had no grasping of sign language (Katarina had picked it up as a means to communicate with a deaf tutor when he was young- He was always interested in becoming a doctor, but wasn't practical or studious by nature).

Flintlock didn't particularly want to crowd the tiny cabin any more than he had to, but Sanguiana fit comfortably in an empty corner of the main room and the rudimentary stone fireplace, where she could radiate warmth thought the room, which both Crimsonette and Katarina were grateful for. Besides this, she could occasionally be seen tinkering with small items Crimsonette had brought home, creating more complex reagents. Besides this, she never seemed to need to eat, besides ocassionally consuming and/or lighting individual matches.

Katarina figures her physiology most closely mimics that of a Shifty, while Crimsonette hypothesizes she more closely mimics a firebird or other similar creature. Flintlock doesn't particularly care, however; to him, she's just a weird little roommate who seems nice enough and is occasionally helpful. She occasionally follows Crimsonette on her journeys around Tiger's Eye Peak, providing more warmth than her beloved Ping and some very welcome companionship- And hands!

While presumably genderless- They're made of amorphous wax and flickering fire, clearly not adhering to the typical rules of biology- Sanguiana is usually referred to with feminine pronouns. The practice started from a slip of the tounge on Flintlock's part based on her somewhat feminine-leaning appearance. However, out of the (known) pronouns they subsequently tried, "she/her" illicited the best response. None of the villagers are sure why- She could just associate more with feminine traits, or she may just like how it sounds.

Besides tinkering, Sanguiana tends to spend the day sleeping, playing with her adopted pet axolotl, or burning little doodles of unknown figures into the walls- Particularly a large, slightly mermaid-like candle furry- And watching the other villagers conduct their business. The only word she includes in her doodles, and even seems to know, appears to be her own name, which the others adress her by. She will occasionally emit an eerie aura- a bit of a feeling of unease around her, but never anything much- and shadows seem to become especially dark near where she "stands." While Crimsonette doubts it's anything, Katarina secretly suspects something may be magical about her. While sometimes distrustful, Flintlock does his best to shake off any superstitious feelings he develops about her, seeing as she does no harm and does a job. Besides, where exactly would she go?
