About
Hope is a young Mage learning how to use her powers. She possesses a variety of powers ranging from the creation of various objects to teleporting. She has not yet mastered these skills, and cannot use them repeatedly or for an extended period of time. Certain powers may leave her exhausted if used too much or if done in certain ways. (ex. Teleporting somewhere with another person will leave her feeling weak afterward.) Sometimes things may not go as planned, and she has ended up in strange places on more than one occasion due to botched teleports.
Hope chooses to hide her identity, donning a light gray wooden mask. She is never seen outside of her home without her mask. If she really trusts someone one-hundred percent, she may feel comfortable enough to take her mask off around them.
She’s usually seen wearing a simple gray jacket over a faded black shirt and brown pants. She doesn’t seem to care much for wearing anything other than simple attire, but will change accordingly depending upon where she finds herself.
Hope prefers to help where most others would rather mind their own business. She likes seeing others smile and being happy in general, and becomes bothered when she sees someone that is upset for any reason. If she comes across someone like this she’ll do her best to cheer them up, whether it be through giving a gift, or just listening to their problems and reassuring them. She likes to think that just about everyone has some good in them, though she knows that not everyone does.
Hope has a tendency to hide most negative feelings when she’s around others. If asked, she’d try to hide those feelings under a mask of forced cheer different from her usual demeanor. She’s not one to readily talk about her own bad feelings, despite being more than willing to listen to everyone else’s problems. She feels that she’d only be bothering others or bringing them down by talking about these things.
It takes a lot to actually make Hope angry, and if given the chance she would rather flee than fight if a real threat presents itself. (Though at times she may not immediately realize she is in danger.) If forced to fight she is not very strong or fast, and thanks to her small stature it wouldn’t be much of a challenge to take her out for most people. She will become upset and agitated if her mask is broken or taken from her.
She has a penchant for seashells and can often be found around beaches, running along the sand gathering as many as she can. She also tends to create them in her spare time, using it as a way to practice her magic. She’ll often give away the seashells she gathers as gifts, sometimes painting the insides of some shells with an image of something a person may like before giving them away.
