Villager: Malvolia

A monster demon that has no biological gender, but goes by female pronouns as her voice is rather feminine and that's what most people assume she is. She can and will possess people, but as long as the victim actively tries to fight her off mentally, she can't do much damage.

Nobody knows where Malvolia hails from, least of all Malvolia herself. Everyone who's ever known her recalls her simply showing up one day, slipping into society with practiced ease despite her unorthodox appearance that would surely have alerted others of her peculiarities. However, she managed to live life like a regular animal, making friends and attending school and forging a place for herself in society. When asked about her background, she shrugs all questions off with a giggle and a roll of her hollow-seeming eyes.

It's a popular theory among the villagers of Sacrucor that Malvolia uses magic to hide her odd traits, a sort of glamour or perception blocking or something to that effect. It never seems to strike anybody that she doesn't look like anybody else, with her four long ears, black eyes and strangely sharp teeth, but that has never affected anyone's judgment of her.

That's not the only rumour regarding her, however. Some choose to believe that she's evil (she would deny this until blue in the face), she's a ghost ("I'm couldn't possibly be a ghost because demons can't die in the first place, moron,", as she's fond of saying), she's a regular animal in disguise, she's a fallen angel trying to earn back her place in the heavens, among other and crazier theories - but she simply laughs these off.
