We're not sure exactly what Malco is. Malco probably isn't even their real name, that was just Sunder throwing random words at them until they found something they liked. Being both mute and illiterate, there was no way for Malco to communicate what their name, or gender is.
The lack of proper communications doesn't seem to affect them much, they're a happy sort of fellow, not very bright, but definitely has a love for helping others.
We don't know what they did before, but they're real handy in manual labor. In all seriousness if you ask them to build or fix something they'll get really excited and get right on with it.
Occasionally accompanies the rest of the crew on exploration trips.

Fyguard: The two are great friends and trust each other. Malco likes to give him trinkets they find, as well as helping him with his disobediant animals.
