She was raised in a small village at the base of a mountain. The village was considered holy, because traveling to the peak of the mountain was the only way into the Quetzal Palace temple. The temple housed the Mighty feathered serpent, Quetzalcoatl.
It was a rite of passage for the villagers to climb to the peak, visit the QuetzalCoatl, and recieve their feathered headdress.

Estral is very shy, and travels a lot. She has had many different jobs, including explorer, construction worker, doctor, before giving in to her love of animals And going into animal husbandry. Its a little hard for her to collect animals because ironically, she cant swim.
