Alphie shook his head in reassurance while looking at the fish-like creature. "Oh, you didn't squish me, it's fine. All this fluff on me can act like armor of sorts! The advantage of being floofy. Of course there are disadvantages, too." He shrugged his shoulders. "Don't worry, friend."
Alphie let out a bit of a surprised squeak, but a smiled stayed on his face nonetheless. This creature was certainly friendly and interesting to say in the least. "Such a big strong hug!" He had to adjust the crown of flowers on his head to keep it from falling off. "I don't think I've ever seen anything like you before."
