About
With an increase of Daemons invading Dragonsmaw Manor, Darkfire decided to roost in a nearby manor house. ...Much to the dismay of it's residents. Every attempt to chase the beast away has failed, but Nightshadow wants to try "taming" the monster instead.
----
Screeching filled the night air as thousands of bats swarmed in search of food. Some screeches were greetings, to old friends and relatives, others were warnings, of danger or impending collisions. On this night, many bats liked to roam to other villages, for this was a night of tricks and treats. Fiery, named for his bright orange mane, lead a small group of neighborhood bullies. Calling themselves the Fire Gang, they liked to group up on unsuspecting trick-or-treaters, and steal candy or smash pumpkins. On this night, they thought, they'd have all the fun, and none of the consequences. They were wrong.
Fiery plowed into a pumpkin, smashing it to pieces on the doorstep of a very old and decrepit, even by Dragonsmaw Manor standards, house. Cackling, he started looting the candy from the plundered pumpkin, then turned around to find his friends had fled. Shrugging, he snagged the last few pieces of candy, then moved toward the last remaining pumpkin on the doorstep.
As he delt the crushing blow to his orange adversary, he heard the door creak. Looking quickly, he saw nothing there, then turned and began plundering his prizes. Suddenly he heard the door slam, and he turned again. Fiery saw nothing. Then he felt nothing, and the world went black.
Waking centuries later, he found he could remember nothing. Heart black as night, and eyes as fierce orange as fire, he renamed himself Darkfire, and set out to terrorize Dragonsmaw Manor once more.
