Born and raised by a massive rabbit family in Olde Foxbury, Rusty lived most of his life as a gardener and farmer, growing crops and medicinal herbs for his family. However, Rusty dreamed of adventure, and a life on the high seas. Unfortunately, family obligations and severe seasickness would get in the way of that dream. That didn't stop Rusty from leaving home as soon as possible, though.
Passing through a port looking for work, Rusty found a curious flyer advertising a job opening. The job itself looked promising, although the listed requirement of "Must like clowns" seemed a little odd. Seeing the word "airship" had Rusty sold, though, so he went off to apply. After an interview by Galant, he got the job, and officially joined the "Freedom's Wings" crew.
