originally born into a lively region of Dragonsmaw Manor, Ariel lived a vagabond livestyle for many years before settling down into Rocktalon Town, citing the friendliness of its at the time dozen-or-so inhabitants as a key factor in her choice to stay. keen to teach the younger folks there what she had learnt in her decades of travelling, she mentored three young apprentices who themselves ended up seeking adventure outside of Rocktalon's borders. the trio don't write back much anymore, but the letters she does receive she describes as "pages imbued with motherly instinct".
