Born to loving parents, Charlotte Clovenhoof had a simple childhood. She lived in old foxbury, in a lone farmhouse that lay on the outskirts of the region. Her mother, an alchemist bovine, hailed from Dragonsmaw Manor, while her father, a herbalist saggitari, lived his life in Olde Foxbury. Charlotte would constantly go from Olde Foxbury to Dragonsmaw Manor, gaining friends in both villages. However, once she hit the age of 10, her parents decided that the long term relationship wasn't working. They split soon after, Charlotte's father becoming her main guardian and parental figure.
Her world as she knew it was shook, but she stayed strong. Although her parents split, she was still allowed to visit her mother during the holidays. She gradually cut her ties with Dragonsmaw Manor friends, struggling to maintain her friendships.

Joey continues to watch the saggitauri carefully as her tail wrapped around the potion. Within moments. she dug into her chest fur, careful to avoid the hidden eye.
"Well, at least you were honest about it. A trinket for you."
She produced a gem from her floof, pausing for a moment.
".... You probably can't eat this but, I hear it is good for potions."
She held it out while watching... Waiting...

"I only like sweet fruity teas... That cup smells funny."
She gives the saggitauri a suspicious glare. A future queen must be careful.
"So cute I almost don't want to eat you."
