Whatever record and memory used to exist of him, all have failed to withstand the test of time and been lost to the ages. The rumor is that he was once worshiped as a god by those who hungered for magical power. How far the mighty have fallen if this is true, for now he is just a dreamer, a potions master, and a terrible cynic. Penumbra makes a humble living granting alchemical knowledge to his fellow villagers, and reveals little about himself. His trust and his friendship are both hard won, but once given, his loyalty is an fiercely powerful gift.
