Anya has lived in Quetzal Palace for as long as she can remember ...so her celestial father could keep an eye on her.
Her parents were nothing of outstanding status. Mother, Saedi, was born and raised in a small village before moving to a larger community where she could refine her swordsmanship. Years passed and she became a warrior of noble position and accepted oversight of the Clerlême township, a promotion bestowed by Mayor Ana herself. However, she ended up taking leave less than a year later, as her secret relationship with Maroth, a wandering galactic being residing on the very fringes of the planet's atmosphere, finally produced an unexpected pup. Puzzling, because Maroth cannot stay within the planet's gravitational hold without causing some sort of astrophysical trauma, despite his superior abilities.
Unfortunately, Anya's mother perished in battle before she could get the full story, and communicating with her father has always been more difficult than it's worth. The only guidance Anya has from the phoenix-like entity so far is a faint trail of stardust and space matter flowing from her core that becomes more pronounced when/if the situation calls for it. Everything else comes from her doting adoptive mom, grandparents and a few close friends, all of which do their best to help the young hybrid explorer navigate her interesting life.
What's to happen when her friendship with a surprisingly charming newcomer grows into something a little less ...platonic?
