Ed Ward is infected with
Zombipathy. Eating brains relieves symptoms for a time, but comes with memories of the brain's former life. Your doctor recommends adding hot sauce for extra flavor, but a Golden Apple a day will send the Zombipathy away.
About
Ed is a goofy hyena, with a crazy personality and state of mind similar like Ed from the Lion King as a reference with the only difference being that this Ed chooses to occasionally speak when it's absolutely important, albeit with a heavy stutter and comprehension difficulties.
Ed is a friendly fellow, but being a zombie tends to ruin most of his chances to make pals that aren't from the area. He's usually seen wearing a broken pot with a flower in it on his head (he changes the flower whenever one becomes so long dead that it dries up and breaks).
Despite the obstacles he faces with his speech impediments and unconventional social skills, Ed is quite the smarty, albeit he learns a lot through the memories of the brains he eats. He knows more about plants than a majority of other herbalist in Dragonsmaw, including Krylan. He knows how to ensure a plant is able to sprout or when it's close to dying in a way that can't be prevented. In fact, depending on how the plant's physical state is before it actually dies, he moves it into the soil on his pot-hat.
Although he's friendly, don't mess with his plants, if he catches uninvited guest in his garden then not even the insects are safe from this cannibalistic plant boyo. If you can snap him out of his protective rage before he catches you though he'll be sure to end up profusely apologizing for almost eating you and hope you'll forgive him as he gives a flash of his cold dead puppy-eyes.
Ed also came with 2 full pots, he grew his flowery hedgehog buddy (Hedgy Hoyalty) and a flying flower friend (Heron Bird Bloom)
((Thanks for visiting Ed's profile! I'm still learning more Furvilla lore and I'm doing the best to adjust the Miscellanea's clan lore accordingly. I appreciate any feedback you all have for my villagers!))
