Arrogant and self-centered, Osiris believes his true calling is necromancy. Not this ugly modern necromancy, but an ancient style. It is his belief that golem's are stronger when their heartstone is connected not to flesh and sinew of the synthetic variety, but to real flesh and blood. (donated or otherwise!)
He had been to the Royal Academy of the Arts, and subsequently dropped out when he discovered his talent and leanings toward the older ways. Osiris now uses gravediggers to further study and create "illegal" golems.
