You didn't seek out Spectrolite, he came and found you. Or, more like, you were going about your business and found his pet on a random tree. Cut to a few hours later, and you've reunited Sprectrolite and Pomegranate, and you ask him to tell you about himself.
"Wow, me? I don't get that very often actually..." His glittery eyes turn skyward as he talks. The pair of you were strolling through the woods. Pomegranate sat on his shoulder.
"Well I go by Ollie for short. Sprectrolite's a bit of a mouthful. Oh, you probably want to know about the crystals first, right?" He makes a small gesture with one hand to the colourful crystals that grew out of his body. "There's not really any cool backstory behind them, it was an accident. See, I usually test my potions on myself, so see if they're safe. I don't know what happened with this one, because it was supposed to be a Mini HP Potion... I think it got tampered with? But anyway, I drank it and uh, now I have crystals! That's about it. They're a little itchy sometimes but they don't cause me any harm. Pomegranate here loves them, he likes to clean the dust off of 'em. Oh we're talking about me, not Pomy. Um, I learnt my lesson, I don't test potions on myself anymore. I'm still sorta looking for whoever changed the one I drank, I just wanna know why. There's not much else to me, I've lived a pretty normal life." His tail twitches as he's struck with an idea.
"Hey! You can test my potions for me!" He takes your hand and drags you along with him. You were in for a long day.
