Villager: Archimedes

Born with deformed wing virus, Archimedes unfortunately has a number of health complications thanks to it. It wasn't really sure if he'd make it, and each year he hung on was a MIRACLE to his mother, who adores him. While his mom was always happy to still have him, Archi himself was not at all happy to still be alive. A love-hate relationship with life, Archi is deathly afraid of dying, but has little to no quality of life to make weathering the storm worth it.

Some of the only things Archi could ever really do were on his laptop, and as such he began to spend an upsetting amount of time online each day. He'd occasionally browse forums or YouTube videos, but what he did most of the time was GAMING. He very much loves video games as they give him something to do. When not playing them, he's watching lets plays. When he's not watching them, he's coding them himself. They were good attempts at distraction, but nothing he did could really shake the thoughts of death in the back of his mind- especially since his health was already on a further downward spiral.

There was one game he was making that Archi really took a liking to, it was set to be a more online game- the first time he tried something like that. He worked day and night on this game for a very long time, and did eventually debut a closed beta to a small audience. Archi is very shy and reserved, but he did his best to listen and communicate with the testers so that he'd have a clear idea of what to implement or change. One person did stand out to him, they'd talk often. It was like they had nowhere else to be too, and they'd chat for hours. The more they spoke, the more Archi began to realize something was not right with them. Come to find out, they'd been dead the entire time- a ghost.

With a sudden and tragic death too young and too soon, this ghost felt cheated- and they wanted nothing more than to be alive. Archi, on the other hand, was almost the complete opposite. While he was still afraid to die, he did feel that being stuck as some lines of code would be far better than the life he had- computers don't have to worry about death. So, they made a decision. They'd swap pulse lights- their tangible souls. Their attempt to do so backfired, and what ended up happening was their souls merged during the attempt to transfer. They now exist in two places at once, being able to switch control of either body to one another. Archi also got his wish somewhat- as the ghost is a digital type of ghost, Archi became like a digital ghost without having to actually die- in fact, he's immortal now. He's more like a computer, no longer human.

Often described as having the personality of a baby proofed hospital room; Archi is very socially anxious, timid, and reclusive to try and prevent himself from bothering anyone as much as possible. He has an incredibly high level of empathy to points where it does significantly impact him. He cries all the time, usually for others. Feeling everything so intensely for everyone else and including himself all the time is rather tiring emotionally, and this is why Archi is reclusive as all hell. Despite this, he's been able to make many friends- including his current partner, Louse. They're actually childhood friends, and Louse has taken up the role of being Archi's caretaker. Archi is actually still working on his game with the help of the ghost that's part of him now. He makes all the assets for the game, from art to music.
