Having woke up dead with no memory of his death, Requiem is nothing more than an apparition- a collection of chilling, ghostly fog with no sign of a soul left. Due to his ability to implode ear drums with high frequencies and cause severe unease with his constant emittance of infrasound, Req is known as more of a banshee than a regular ghost.
A well-known musician and voice actor throughout much of the surrounding Midwest, and even world wide- Req was heavily sought after by all sorts of different managers not just for his talents, but also due to another little ability his vocal range has. Req can actually mind control others with subliminal infrasound in his lyrics and music; from the moment the higher ups of Keystone got word of this, it became an all out war. Everyone wanted to work with him, forcing him to use his abilities for their gain.
To further his streak of misfortune, Req's girlfriend was turned somewhat upside down due to how close she was to him and the infrasound he emits. Cheating, lying, generally playing him for a fool, Req was very much a submissive chump in her hands. Despite his romantic woes, Req was able to find friendship and solace within his roadie, Wretched. Wretch is very much inspired by Req and his talent, and is happy to work with him no matter what it's on. Very eager to please, but there's one thing about Wretch that's odd. Req only remembers being with Wretch on the day he died.
A scorned past manager jealous of what they're missing, his suspicious roadie, or his ever angering girlfriend- all of them seem like likely candidates for what killed him in Req's eyes. While it may be clear what occurred to him, he himself fully believes that Wretch would never do anything to harm him. Now lacking much of a soul, Req's ability to experience emotion and feeling is severely dulled, and his capability to empathize with others is completely absent. It was fated that his soul would finally find peace and he would experience feeling again if he avenged himself.
One could definitely call Req a "ladykiller" figuratively and literally, he's often seen swooning women with his charms. Unfortunately, many of the gals that are invited "backstage" are never seen again. Other than an interest in all things music, Req very much enjoys things like collecting guitars and basses, playing Neopets, or watching slasher films. Equally, he is a very hungry guy with an avid love of cheesecake, no matter the kind or flavor. He has a huge sweet "mandible". Lots of the girls he gets with end up in the same place as cookies, cakes, and coffee. He's not a great guy.
