Benji's amnesia means they're still not sure how they fit into the village.
Benji's struggles with anxiety, executive function and memory loss resulted in them living in a group home. They love their housemates but are very shy. Rubi volunteer's some of his animals as therapy pets, and Benji always looks forward to getting to his visits.
One day, Benji would like to learn to cook, but many recipes are too complicated for them to follow without becoming upset. For now, the cafeteria worker at their home let's them watch and sometimes even help. Benji can be a little cheeky and steals bites when the cook isn't looking.
