Villager: Drone

Being something called "altered", there's a faulty line of code in Drone's soul that allows him strange abilities. Everyone who is altered has a unique ability, sometimes it's more of a detriment. Finding out what his ability is around his preteen years, Drone was given the supernatural ability to bypass any and all security; anything from firewalls to security guards and cameras just don't even notice or pick him up. Not only that, but he is clairvoyant. If information is withheld from him, he psychically receives that information.

With the aid of his altered abilities, Drone was trouble for everything online at a very young age. He took to hacking, something that was essentially a cakewalk for him. With time and lots of websites hacked, Drone only got better and better at it- unfortunately. What started as just a disliking of secrets evolved with delusions and time. He could have any secretive information he wanted, or so that's what Drone felt- so, when there's something he can't have...it irks him deeply and he can't just let it go. He HAS to know.

Eventually, Drone came to the conclusion that no information should be secretive and would not listen to anyone else's opinion regarding this. This led to Drone hacking riskier and riskier things, culminating in the eventual hacking of very important documents. These documents were reports of supernatural entities throughout the century, thorough documentation with proof that everything that goes bump in the night is real. Drone leaked this document due to him feeling it shouldn't be secretive; at this time in this planet's history, people had no idea supernatural beings were actually real. So, one can imagine the stir this caused.

Fortunately, Drone was not just punished with a couple years in jail- but also a full on curse. He had hacked and leaked so much sensitive stuff over the years and this was the final fucking straw. This curse did a number of evil things: destroyed one of his eyes, gave him severe bad luck that results in frequent severe injury, an intense polyphagia and craving for raw meat, and his abilities were sealed away. The hunger it causes does make sense- as a truly heinous addition, there's a stipulation: if Drone consumes another person, he can use his powers again just for a while. At first, Drone refused to do such a thing- but with time, he began to fall behind at work and was facing eviction- most of his utilities were also off or about to be due to being unable to pay the bills. After butchering up some meat and cooking it, it really didn't seem so bad anymore. Due to the overwhelming hunger the curse causes him, he has an instinctual "predatory drift" that led to him "accidentally" attacking and eating his former girlfriend while she was alive. He does deeply regret this.

Other than his avid interest in hacking, Drone also enjoys cooking and watching movies- he's a big film nerd. As such, he often visits movie theaters with his current (for how long?) partner, Rigel (who is unfortunately bitesize). After being cursed, Drone took up a "sudden" interest in poisonous things, and has learned how to make some poisons and toxins at home. This definitely isn't for nefarious reasons. Drone's just kind of a bad dude, a jerk in general. Despite the fact he's very social and can be charismatic, he does also often say mean shit to people for no reason. This is mainly due to how reckless he truly is- he doesn't fear repercussions at all, whether they are physical or social.
