at first glance, kabocha might seem like one of the smaller monsters prowling along slumber town's borders, but look closer and realize it's really a normal ol' dutch angel dragon, born and raised in slumber town! kabocha's long had an extreme fascination with the monsters that live in the penumbral weald, one that even the most enthusiastic of other villagers can't quite match, and this is most clear in how they dress to look like one.
kabocha spends their days questing the penumbral weald for all sorts of monsters to befriend or domesticate, aided in their survival by their costumes to look more monster-y. kabocha returns home with stories of running alongside all sorts of creatures- and sometimes, returns home with smaller animals they've brought home from the weald!
