hysterics is a malicious force common to see in the weald. a laughing figure with sharp teeth and wild eyes, it's clear that this is a character one should stay away from. quite a few mysterious disappearances seem to lead to him too.
the only way to be safe from such a creature is, of course, an interest in his wares. despite the dangerous and unforgiving nature of the weald hysterics makes all sorts of elixirs with the natural flora of these strange woods. the sort of things you could never find with just the tamed plants found in most of dragonsmaw- nay, the world. hysterics' brews can bring people from the edge of death (and maybe beyond, if you come to him on a lucky day), change people's forms to all sorts of marvels, and more. it truly take a desperate soul to brave out into the weald and seek out hysterics- but that's part of the fun for him.
