pantomime is an eager trickster. they love scaring tourists with all sorts of stories of the weirdness of slumber town, and of the penumbral weald beyond it. and if they happen to "borrow" some money from the pockets of their terrified listeners, well... all the price of storytelling.

despite their conniving and joking nature, pantomime is a well-respected jack-of-all-trades to the townsfolk, helping out with all sorts of jobs when the usual workers are busy. they're most known for their help in construction work, but outside of such jobs they're also the village tailor, known for making all sorts of fascinating and hair-raising costumes that further terrify tourists, but make for great additions to the yearly haunted parade that runs through the town in honor of their history.
