About
Cory Wellings is the 2nd child in her family. Growing up, her family was aware she had a passion for construction and enjoyed building things. As a young adult, she continued these passions and today is a proud construction worker. She enjoys afternoon walks with her pet (or rather "her friend," as she describes their relationship) Heart Piercer. Her favourite past time besides that is reading on cold winter nights, again, with Heart Piercer on her shoulder, she often gives him time to read as well, although, it seems to most that he doesn't quite understand how to read.
Their friendship started simply — if was a very cold afternoon in the forest outside town, she was on her usal afternoon walk when she came across a black vampbird, which would be a common sight, but this one was injured. The poor thing had twisted it's leg, she took it in and neutered it back to health. When it came time to release the vampbird back into the wild, it refused, having grown to attached to her. Cory herself had formed quite the bond with teh bird; almost like a parental bond, at the moment, she realised that she could not leave him. Inspired by the heartwarming feeling she felt in his company, she named him Heart Piercer.
