About
In a time before time was relevant, and the world still young and vast, there was a village nestled in the mountains where a babe was taken in by monks. Growing up in the secluded and mysterious location known to outsiders as Shangri La, her adopted family nurtured and cared for her, trained her to fight and be aware of the energies that flow through the universe.
Years had passed with little to no visitors. Those who did find the sacred land were rarely welcomed in, and who ever was never left. Not because they weren't allowed, but because they genuinely wanted to stay. Everyone had a part to play and hers was to patrol and protect the boarders. She was a very powerful fighter who used not only her physical prowess but her ability to tap into other's energies.
One day when she was on a patrol, she discovered a downed zeplin. A healer from a sect called Telopwargah met with her and was fascinated by her natural, raw talents. Telopwargah is renown for hosting the best healers that the world has ever seen, they use both physical and metaphysical means of healing intertwined with one another. People from all over the world send for those who are able to travel to come and help aid in the curing the sick. Having faith in the universe, he convinced the elders of Shangri La to let her leave with him, if she so wished, to train and refine her abilities. Agreeing, a bittersweet goodbye was said and a new chapter opened up in her life.
Ssin attended the classes that Telopwargah hosted for those who wanted to learn the art. Anatomy, Reiki, kinesiology, gemology, herbalism, aromatherapy, physiology and pathology were a few of the classes that she had taken to master her art of healing. Upon her graduation she went through the painful ceremony of claw clipping (A painful reduction of the claws located on the hands to make them ridiculously short, close to non-existent.). It was a tradition that everyone went through that was a physical reminder of the oath, "Thou shalt only touch with healing intent." She was famed for her massages and powerful energy work, so those who needed her, she went to.
The healers who traveled across the lands were allowed to learn the martial art of Aikido to protect themselves and possibly those who were traveling with them if their assignments called for an escort service. Which brings her here... To Foxbury. A quaint place, where she is enjoying the new scenery, new beings, and new flora and fauna to help her learn how to heal with the ingredients that are local. It has thus far been a new and colorful experience for her.
