it's sort of unclear where she came from or who/what exactly she is. she isn't a physical entity, and she doesn't make herself known to anybody she doesn't chose to. it seems she and winter are pretty close, you hardly ever see one without the other. she may be connected to her in some way, she might even be a part of her. neither of them know for sure, but they don't take it too seriously.

typically she accompanies winter on her explorations, offering advice and acting as a conscience when needed. on her own time, she makes use of her creative talents and designs costumes and accessories for other villagers, often enlisting winter's help putting them together.
