Villager: Aulendra

A golden dragoness sits before you, hunched over a desk and studying a glittering sapphire. She looks at you out of the corner of her eye, one earfin pointed towards your direction while her head remains pointed at the jewel she is examining. Her scales are a gleaming gold in color, with her back noticeably darker and dotted with black cheetah-like spots. Her tail and neck are lined with large amounts of dense, fluffy fur. Her wings are slightly frayed at the edges and bits of her fur show the slightest hint of graying; the female is clearly more advanced in age than many of her peers.

HISTORY:

As a rare golden dragon, Aulendra was born destined to be the leader of a dragon clan in the Quetzal Palace. However, she did not want to hold such a position as she would be forced to wed in an arranged marriage and provide eggs for her clan. Aulendra instead chose to flee, relocating to a remote part of Tigereye Peak. There, she has found a new life as the provider for a small hamlet within Tigereye Peak. She provides for her local community, making a modest wage as an Explorer. Despite the loss of her status and position of power the dragoness couldn’t be happier, as she gets to spend her days out in the field.

PERSONALITY:

Aulendra is an observant sort, as years of experience finding valuable things have given her an incredibly discerning eye. She is generally cosmopolitan, accepting everyone with a smile. However she is not without her vices; she is hopelessly materialistic and greedy, never being satisfied with what she has and tending to hoard anything she finds appealing.
