Villager: Grace

An abandoned experimental robot, Grace was found in Maru's garden one day picking flowers and sticking them between her head feathers. No one knows who made her or why. She struggles with using language, and tends to use beeps and other synthesized noises to communicate how she feels. She struggles both with being understood and with feeling "less real" than the other villagers. But in spite of her problems, she's a brilliant and brilliantly kind problem-solver who will do anything to help someone in need.

Grace and Maru are essentially siblings, and Grace changes from Doctor to Blacksmith and back again to best suit his needs. On weekends, the two can be found together talking over tea. Grace never drinks hers, but admires the aesthetics of it nonetheless.

Her house is surrounded by swathes of pink blossoms, all planted and cared for by Maru themself.
